History

2008-09: Noonan skated in 30 games for Catholic Memorial High School as the team won the Massachusetts Super 8 Championship. A team co-captain and co-MVP of the Catholic Conference, Noonan scored 12 goals with 22 assists.

2009-10: Played in 58 regular season games for the BCHL’s Vernon Vipers tallying 2 goals and 16 assists, then went on to add 3 goals and 3 assists in 19 playoff games.

2010-11: Notched 4 goals and 11 assists in 38 games as a freshman for the Boston University Terriers. He also added 89 PIMs on the season, a significant jump from his totals in the BCHL.

Talent Analysis

A classic two way defenseman, the best compliment you can likely pay Noonan is that you didn’t really notice him. He takes care of business smartly and effectively in his own end, and while he has the ability to contribute from time to time offensively—whether with a crisp breakout pass or from the offensive blueline—he plays an understated but effective game.

Future

Noonan will continue to play at Boston University this upcoming season.
